1. Thickness Advantage and Printing Pressure Adaptability
As a thick flexographic printing plate, the 2.28mm thickness provides sufficient structural stability, which can adapt to the pressure adjustment needs of notebook printing equipment. Compared with thinner plates (such as 1.14mm), it has stronger pressure resistance and is not easy to deform during high-speed printing, ensuring consistent printing effect for large-batch notebook production. At the same time, the moderate thickness can avoid excessive pressure on paper substrates, preventing problems such as paper wrinkling, fiber crushing and ink penetration, which is particularly suitable for printing on notebook inner pages (writing paper, offset paper) and covers (coated art paper, kraft paper).
2. Advantages of Solvent-based Flexo Plate Making for Notebook Graphics
2.28mm solvent-based flexographic printing plates have high plate-making precision, clear and sharp edges of graphics and texts, and can accurately reproduce fine patterns, text logos, decorative lines and gradient effects commonly used in notebook printing.
3. Flexible Fit for Diversified Notebook Substrates
Flexographic printing plates themselves have good elasticity, and the 2.28mm thick plates can better fit the printing cylinder and the surface of uneven paper substrates. When printing on substrates with slight surface roughness, they can effectively compensate for the surface defects of the paper, ensure uniform ink transfer, and improve the flatness and color consistency of the printed surface. It is suitable for printing auxiliary patterns on notebook inner pages, such as line grids (ruled lines, square grids), edge decorative lines, watermarks and small logos. The 2.28mm plate can control the printing pressure precisely, avoiding ink penetration to the back of the paper (especially for thin writing paper with 60-80g/m²), ensuring the writing experience of the inner pages. At the same time, its high printing durability can meet the continuous production of tens of thousands of notebooks, reducing the frequency of plate replacement and improving production efficiency.
